This runbook defines how content and structural usage is audited over time to ensure Pages, Posts, templates, and components continue to follow the defined system rules.
Audits identify drift or misuse. They do not apply fixes directly. Findings are routed into deliberate corrective actions or explicitly documented acceptance.

- Page and Post role audits
- Formatting and image standards compliance
- Template assignment and usage audits
- Component reuse and duplication checks
This runbook does not cover:
- SEO optimization campaigns
- Content rewriting for conversion or performance
- Server or database maintenance
Preconditions
- Operations 04 — SEO & Indexing Audits is completed and approved
- Content Systems rules are locked and in effect
- No active emergency changes are in progress
Checklist Steps — Page & Post Role Audits
1. Audit Page usage
- Review Pages intended to be authoritative and long‑lived
- Confirm Pages are not used as frequently updated content
- Identify Pages being misused as logs, feeds, or announcements
2. Audit Post usage
- Review Posts intended to be checklist‑driven or procedural
- Confirm Posts are not acting as landing pages or system definitions
- Identify Posts being misused as permanent reference pages

3. Review formatting consistency
- Check heading hierarchy and list usage
- Identify ad‑hoc formatting deviations
- Confirm formatting aligns with documented rules
4. Review image standards compliance
- Confirm image sizes and formats follow standards
- Check alt text and metadata completeness
- Identify images that violate usage or performance rules

5. Audit template usage
- Confirm Pages use the correct Page Templates
- Confirm Posts use the correct Post Templates
- Identify template overrides or misassignments
6. Audit component usage
- Confirm components are reused appropriately
- Identify duplicated UI logic outside the component library
- Confirm components have not been bypassed or re‑implemented
